In order to fully understand and quantify analysis the influence of the design parameters of a vehicle or its assembly on fuel economy, the paper has conducted the simulation study on the influence of fuel economy from a vehicle weight, body structure, engine, transmission and tires based on the vehicle fuel economy simulation platform. And the accuracy and availability of light weight principle, low air resistance principle, low fuel consumption principle, economic speed principle and low rolling resistance principle were further validated. The obtained results provide a new approach to consider fuel economy on a vehicle optimization matching technology. |
