Popis: The purpose of this contribution is to look at the last century against the background of the ‘Polish’ approach towards international courts and tribunals: the Permanent Court of International Justice/International Court of Justice, the European Court of Human Rights, the instruments of international criminal justice and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea. This may be yet another aspect of scrutinising Polish foreign policy. It may be argued that the approach of a State towards international judiciary may heavily influence the international perception or position of that State and – more importantly perhaps – would also reveal the condition of its diplomacy.
