Some novel regular fluorine-containing copolyamides have been synthesized by low temperature polycondensation, and some of their physicochemical properties have been investigated. It is shown that the regular copolyamides dissolve in amide solvents without the use of inorganic salts. It was found by TGA that temperatures of the onset of degradation of the copolyamides are in the interval 633–663 K. Regular fluorine containing copolyamides are more stable towards hydrolysis in an acid medium than in an alkaline one. The films have a tensile strength of 90–100 MPa and high cold resistance. Higher heat resistance (up to 693 K) was observed for the copolymers containing the largest number of para -substituted units. |
