Popis: Clinically and morphologically the cyst is an intermediate stage between acute and chronic pancreatitis. In the early stage of the disease, i.e. in absence of capsule, pancreatic juice leakages in retroperitoneal tissue, small omental pouch, inside pancreatic parenchyma cannot be anatomically considered a cyst, but since they are initial substrate for its formation, they are eligible to be called cysts in unstable stage. According to some authors, in the early stages of cysts should be treated conservatively, while others believe that surgical treatment should be carried out immediately after diagnosis, before a dense capsule develops, which takes 2-4 months to form.
