| Popis: | How midwives use evidence in practice plays an essential role in achieving clinical effectiveness. As a qualitative researcher, I understand the importance of being reflexive in my research practice. This is where I reflect on how my actions, values and perceptions can impact on my research, and remain self-aware of the impact of personal and situational influences (Lambert et al 2010). It is just as relevant for midwives to be self-aware of their own actions, values and perceptions and acknowledge their individual position in their interactions with women, as clinically effective care-givers. |
