Popis: | Analyses of hydrolysates of lipid-free residues of five species of zooplanktonic oceanic crustaceans, of Pyrosoma, a benthic coral, and a micronektonic fish, show that the amino-acid composition is fairly uniform, and is generally similar to that of zooplankton from neritic and estuarine habitats. There are indications that the amino acids of the body protein are not significantly altered by maturity, environmental depth, or geographical locality. |
