Popis: | For determining the dynamic behavior of clay with different water contents, four groups of plane shock-wave experiments on the remolded loess were completed. In the first three groups of experiments, the water contents of samples were 4.8%, 7.5%, and 10%, and the initial density of all the samples was 1.8 g/cm3. In the last group, the initial density was 1.9 g/cm3 and the water content was 10%. The dry density of the last group was nearly the same as the first group. The manufacturing process of the samples, and the experimental settings were the same in all the experiments. The experimental results show that, when the initial density was the same and the water content was different in the sample, the Hugoniot data were nearly consistent, and when the dry density was same, the dynamic behavior of the soil was obviously influenced by the water content boundary conditions. |
