Popis: | Peripheral embolization of Aspergillosis is a rare entity that involves few of the cases with systemic Aspergillosis. The authors report a case of a 54-year-old man with a history of sudden onset of ischemia in the right leg resulting from Aspergillosis embolization. Although the antifungal medication was promptly started and continued for 2 months, recurrence of limb ischemia was noted with pseudoaneurysm formation. This might be an indication for long-term follow-up of patients with peripheral embolization of Aspergillosis, in order to detect the formation of a pseudoaneurysm involving the embolectomy site. |
