Popis: 1. Employing the method of constructing the solubility isotherms, a study was made of the systems: MCl-AlCl3-Solv at 25°, where M=Na, K, Rb, Cs, and Solv=diethyl ether and toluene. 2. The NaCl-AlCl3-Et2O isotherm at 25° is characterized by two crystallization branches: NaCl and the solvate AlCl3·Et2O. 3. The MCl-AlCl3-Et2O isotherms at 25°, where M=K, Rb, Cs, have three crystallization branches: MCl, MAlCl4, and AlCl3-Et2O. 4. The equilibrium in the systems: MCl-AlCl3-C7H8 (M=Na, K, Rb, Cs) at 25° is determined by the successive crystallization of MCl, MAlCl4, and AlCl3. 5. For the systems: MCl-AlCl3-C7H8 a steady decrease in the solubility of the alkali metal chloride when going from lithium to cesium is characteristic when aluminum chloride is added.
