Popis:	A dual-band electrode configuration was fabricated using gold, sputtered on to a glass substrate. The experimental response of these electrodes was tested by cyclic voltammetry and, in the generation-collection mode, agreed with theoretical predictions. An additional property of the present electrodes is the adjustability of the interelectrode space. The application of the device to biochemical electroanalysis was successfully demonstrated for the enzymatic reaction of glucose oxidase and glucose, couplet to the electrochemical oxidation of a substituted ferrocene
