Popis:	Racemic 2-triazolyl or 2-alkylethyl 9,10-anthraquinone derivatives [(V), (X), and (XI)] are efficiently synthesized in good yields by a three- or four-step procedure involving bromination, nucleophilic substitution, and CuI-promoted 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition or alkylation and reductive desulfonylation, respectively.
