Popis:	Middle lobe syndrome continues to be common in India. 55 cases of middle lobe syndrome were seen among 3600 patients hospitalised for chest diseases at Military Hospital, Pune, during the past six years. In 40 cases there was no evidence of bronchial obstruction. Tuberculous aetiology was confirmed only in five cases. All underwent successful middle lobectomy.
