| Popis: | The 54-year-old patient had breast augmentation in 2007 with silicone gel, high-profile, smooth 350 mL implants. Pains developed in the left breast in 2012 that resolved spontaneously. Pain recurred in 2014. MRI showed left implant rupture. Surgery was performed removing both implants and replacing with 365-mL moderate-profile silicone gel implants. Four months after surgery, the left side was pain-free, but the right side had a tender, thickened inframammary scar and recurrent breast pain. There was no tenderness in the area of the fourth intercostal nerve, and the maximal tenderness of the areola was at 12 o’clock. |
