Popis: | This is a study of the main spectral characteristics (profiles, relative intensities, and equivalent widths) of the brightest emission lines of the nucleus of the Seyfert galaxy NGC7469 in different phases of its activity. Spectral data obtained with the 1.5-m Russian-Turkish telescope (RTT-150) in July 2008 and data published by various authors are used. These data reveal a significant reduction in the spectral characteristics over a time scale of 30-40 years. For example, the equivalent widths of the emission lines decreased by as much as a factor of 2-3. The physical parameters (Te, ne) of the nebular line emission zone during the 2008 epoch are estimated. These results show that 2008 was an epoch of minimal activity for the nucleus of this galaxy. Long-term spectral monitoring reveals flare activity of the galaxy nucleus on a short time scale (November 1981) during a transition into a maximum activity phase. |
