Popis: | This paper presents a wireless sensor node designed and developed for fruit growing monitoring. The data acquisition node, the sensors signals conditioning interface and the low cost diameter sensor are described in detail. The proposed solution offers several advantages like minimal human interaction, low costs of implementation and monitoring of many fruits. The results for the node energy consumption measured in laboratory are presented and an acquisition for many days is performed for following environmental parameters: air temperature, air humidity, light intensity and rainfall. Finally, the developed sensor node is characterized and its performances are evaluated. |
