Popis: | The crystallization of amorphous La1−xNdxP5O14 (a-LNPP) has been investigated by DTA, TG, X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering. During annealing in air, a-LNPP transformed to crystalline La1−xNdxP5O14 (c-LNPP) and partially decomposed to La1−xNdxP3O9 and P2O5. The decomposition was inhibited by annealing in saturated P2O5 vapor. The results of Raman spectra show that the PO43− tetrahedra, the structural unit of c-LNPP, are retained in a-LNPP. The Raman frequencies of the crystallized a-LNPP decrease with increasing annealing temperatures from 750 to 900°C, which are attributed to the stresses induced during crystallization. |
