Popis: In this work the averaged thrust over a period obtained by harmonic field study and the thrust obtained by time dependent study is compared. The problem is solved in 2D formulation by the finite element method. The effect of the transverse edge effect is also taken into account by the Bolton’s coefficient. As a result of the work, conclusions have been made about the difference in the obtained results and the correctness of application the harmonic-field approach.
