Popis: Summary S antigen of Sendai virus is synthesized in the nucleoli of infected cells and is then transported to the cytoplasm. V antigen of Sendai virus is synthesized in the perinuclear zone of the cytoplasm and moves to the periphery of the cell where S and V components are assembled and mature virus particles are formed. Treatment with proflavine does not affect the synthesis of either antigen but prevents the transportation of S antigen from nucleoli to the cytoplasm.
