A.C. magnetic susceptibility of U1−vThvSb and USb1−vTev compounds

Popis: The thermal variation in the a.c. magnetic susceptibility of U1−vThvSb and USb1−vTev compounds has been measured in low alternating field by a mutual inductance technivue between 20 and 300 K, in the whole range of thorium and tellurium concentrations. From these measurements, the magnetic phase diagrams versus the concentrations v have been deduced and these results are generally in good agreement with those obtained from other technivues such as magnetivation and neutron diffraction measurements in high magnetic fields. In contrast with the similar study on U1−vThvAs and UAs1−vSev solid solutions, no peaks in the thermal variation of the susceptibility were observed above the ordering temperature for any of the compounds studied in this work.
