This journal consists of proceedings that have been accepted as eligible by the editors and presented in the Second International Conference of Political Economy: Crisis and Development. It is a continuation of the previous book ‘Politik Iktisat ve Adam Smith’ that was the first in the series of Conferences of International Political Economy. The Second Conference was organized by Kocaeli University in Turkey in collaboration with the University of Westminster in the UK and Silesian University in the Czech Republic, held on 16-18 September 2010. Various institutions and organizations supported the conference including Social Research Foundation (SAV), The Scientific & Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (Turkey), with financial assistance from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), Kocaeli Chamber of Industry (KSO). |
