HNHM /17095 3 (2 truncated and 1 intact) ex., No. 15, Ak��a��ren, D��zce, above the lake S of the village, open forest with deciduous oak and Platanus, N40��55.721' E31��17.392', 296 m, leg. L. D��nyi, M.B. Kaydan, 21.0 4.2015. HNHM /17097 1 truncated ex., No. 19, Kazpınarı, Bartın, N of the village, rocky slope with bushes, N41��42.634' E32��21.811', 319 m, leg. L. D��nyi, M.B. Kaydan, 21.0 4.2015. External characters. 62 mm long and 4 mm wide. Number of segments 116. Slight purplish pigmentation dorsally. Prostomium tanylobous. First dorsal pore at intersegmental furrow 6/7. Setae distant. Setal arrangement behind clitellum: aa: ab: bc: cd: dd = 1.27:1.8:1:1.13:1.8. Male pores on 15 between a and b, spherical, slightly invaginated, with large circular, glandular tumescences. Female pore not visible, covered by flat spermatophores. Nephridial pores irregularly alternate between setal line b and above d. Clitellum annular on 26���30. Tubercula pubertatis lacking. Internal characters (based on one specimen). Septa 6/7���14/15 slightly thickened. Testes and funnels paired in 10���11, covered by perioesophageal testic sacs. Two pairs of seminal vesicles in 11 and 12. Spermathecae lacking. Calciferous glands in 10���12 with small diverticula in the posterior part of 10. Last heart in 11, with a pair of extraoesophageal vessels in 12. Nephridial bladders simple, sausage-shaped. Crop in 15���16, gizzard in 17���18, occupying the cavity of 19 as well. Typhlosolis large, anchor-shaped. Longitudinal musculature of pinnate type. Remarks. He. boluana was described on a single specimen from the surroundings of Bolu city (Boludagi Ge��idi). Our specimens are from some 60 (No. 15) and 120 (No. 19) km North-East of the type locality. Our specimens completely agree with the original description, except the position of the nephridial pores: Omodeo & Rota (1989) state that they are aligned just above setal line b, in our specimens they alternate irregularly between b and above d.
