High-performance computing technology takes a very important role in processing biomedical image. In recent years, GPU-based general accelerating computing technology occupies a larger and larger percentage and most of the supercomputers ranking top 10 for their computing power in the world adopt a way of combining CPU and GPU. After researching the algorithms of spatial convolution filtering and correlation for raster data in circumstance of GPU general computing, this article introduces GPU general computing technology in detail and analyses the advantages of it by comparing with CPU computing efficiency. |
