The purpose of this scoping review is to provide an overview of the current state of the literature related to acute psychiatric hospitalization involved in the recovery of individuals with acute mental health problems. Through the search and synthesis of published academic and grey literature, this review will map the current themes and narratives in Occupational Therapy research on these types of units. Ultimately, this review aims to categorize and analyze existing research and literature. |
