Measurement of Nuclear Time Delay for Different Reaction Mechanisms in the 16 O + 28 Si Interaction

Popis: The blocking patterns around the 110 axis of a thin Si single crystal have been measured for the products of the reaction 16O(100 MeV) + 28Si at ?lab?=?15?. Mean reaction times of the order of 10-17 s have been observed for fusion-fission and fusion evaporation processes.
