Activated sintering of silicon nitride powder made by SHS

Popis: A combination of traditional and novel technological methods has been used to provide effective sintering of silicon nitride synthesized by SHS: adding yttrium oxide, adding finely-divided SHS materials as activators, combining the operations of mixing and dry planetary grinding, and the use of activating additives. This can produce a density ≥96% of theoretical and a strength of 690 MPa.
