Popis: | Currently, due to the rise in loads and infrastructure, power system was made more complicated due to the development of the electricity sector. Transmission congestion was considered a major issue in this case. Managing congestion transmission therefore is one of the big challenges facing network operators. It is possible to use Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) and Distributed FACTS (D-FACTS) systems to alleviate the congestion transmission network. This research work, congestion management is finished by dominant real power flows within the engorged transmission lines employing a new management algorithmic rule that governs the thyristor controlled series electrical device (TCSC) a series FACTS device and allows it to vary the electrical phenomenon of congested transmission lines betting on load variations. Here LUF and particle swarm optimization are utilized in the management algorithmic rule for locating best location and optimal filler of TCSC severally. The management algorithmic rule is tested on IEEE five bus system at completely different load conditions, management algorithmic rule at the side of PSO technique has been tested on IEEE fourteen bus system severally at completely different loading conditions. |
