Popis: | Polymerization of epoxide compounds on exposure to complex catalysts of the onium type has been studied. It is shown that the action of the catalysts is due to their breakdown into active components—Lewis acid and tertiary amine. The MWD and structure of the polymerization products have been studied. It is concluded that the polymerization process studied is cationic in nature. |
