Popis:	Mature coniferous stands are comprised of trees in varying stages of susceptibility to and deterioration by wood destroying fungi. Individual trees of such stands may be segregated into easily recognized classes by their possession or lack of visible abnormalities indicative of decay. The segregation of trees on the presence or absence of suspect abnormalities may provide reliable information on stand defect.
