| Popis: | The energy requirement of distributing soft drinks in disposable bottles is about three times as great as for returnable bottles, provided the trippage rate is more than about ten. The energy requirement increases as the size of the bottle decreases. The use of “Brand Identity” bottles which contain additional glass also increases the energy requirement. Recycling of cullet has an energy requirement which is about the same as using disposable bottles. Consequently, the most effective method of saving energy in the distribution of soft drinks is to use returnable bottles. |
