| Popis: | Investigations on the stress relaxation behaviour of concrete have not been made so frequently due to the difficulties arising in sustaining the strain during relaxation tests. This is the reason why it has been tried in the past to conclude from creep tests which may be carried out easily on the relaxation behaviour of concrete. Three equations for an easy calculation have been proposed and investigated for the convertion of creep strains into subsidial stresses. Furthermore, an equation for the description of the residual stress development up to about 500 days has been presented and a simple way for the determination of the ultimate stress has been developed from the measured values. The usefulness of this method has been confirmed by tests. |
