Popis: A complex model combining the macroscopic description of the flow through a porous medium by means of continuum mechanics equations with a network simulation of particle deposition at the microlevel is proposed. Using the macroscopic equations makes it possible rapidly to calculate the development of the process, the coefficients of the equations, which depend on the conditions and nature of the deposition in the pore capillaries, being determined on the basis of the deposition analysis at the microlevel. The results of the numerical calculations carried out on the basis of the model proposed are in good agreement with experimental data.
