Popis: Smart grid and smart city, propelled by Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, are generating big data of an unprecedented scale. The smart grid data plays an important role in managing the smart grid. However, the present smart grid infrastructure lacks in managing and trading of such big data. This paper addresses the issue of data exchange between different entities of the smart grid. By combining homomorphic encryption (HE) with one-time padding procedure, a secure data trading framework has been proposed. The proposed data trading framework is not only providing security but also privacy preserving in nature.
