Popis:	The benzyl esters hypoalectorialic acid [6-(2',4'-dihydroxy-3',6'-dimethylbenzoyloxymethyl)-2,4-dihydroxy-3-methylbenzoic acid] (5) and conechinocarpic acid [1',4'-dihydroxy-6'-methoxy-3'-oxo-1',3'-dihydroisobenzofuran-5'-ylmethyl 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-3,6-dimethylbenzoate (7) have been isolated from the lichens Hypotrachyna hypoalectorialica and Relicina samoensis respectively. The structure of the compounds (5) and (7) followed from a combination of spectroscopic and chemical data.
