In the framework of multidisciplinary design environment the mathematical models of civil airplanes with high aspect ratio wings have been developed. They have been used for design optimization with taking into consideration lift-to-drag, loads, strength, control effectiveness and flutter characteristics. Procedure for accomplishment of multidisciplinary design optimization is described. The optimization results for different configuration wings are presented. |
