Effects of the Pump Wavelength on Laser-Induced Ultrafast Demagnetization

Popis: A high harmonics source is used to perform x-ray resonant magnetic scattering on a magnetic sample. The dynamics of laser-induced ultrafast demagnetization are probed with respect to the wavelength of the pump beam. Longer pump wavelengths are found to increase the initial quenching levels.
