The mechanical and chemical conversions of two types of steric polyesters, i.e. glycerophosphate and glyceromaleate were studied by ESR, IR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and by chemical methods of analysis. Weak bonds were discovered and are the primary source of decompositions; the routes of the secondary reactions of macroradicals were also established. The compositions and structures of the mechanical dispersion products of these polyesters do not depend so much on the number of primary fractures as on the directions of the secondary reactions. |
