Popis: Narratives are a method of sharing information that has a special impact on the audience. A narrative personalizes the events of an individual’s life experience to highlight barriers that some patients encounter when seeking care. The depth and breadth of coverage can be extensive and is usually dependent on your learners and group. This means that some of these narratives can be discussed multiple times to fully explore all of the nuances. Narratives impart knowledge that often leads to a change in attitude. This chapter selects a few narratives as examples and gives discussion questions and sample didactic content for instructors and facilitators.
