| Popis: | Using a layered atmospheric turbulence model, it is shown that substantial extension of the compensated field of view is possible by employing a number of adaptive mirrors and guide stars. In large astronomical telescopes additional extension of the compensated field of view can be achieved at the expense of effective aperture size available for diffraction limited resolution. |
