Floristic survey of representatives of families Chaetophoraceae, Microsporaceae, Schizomeridaceae, and Ulotrichaceae from Biological Reserve of Poco das Antas (22° 30'-22° 33' S and 42° 15'-42° 19' W) located in the municipality of Silva Jardim, state of Rio de Janeiro, southeastern Brazil. Material studied was gathered from two fixed collecting stations, one lentic and the other lotic, and from 30 shallow, occasional pools. Nine taxa were identified which were assigned to the 4 following families: Chaetophoraceae (4 species), Microsporaceae (2), Schizomeridaceae (1), and Ulotrichaceae (2). Two species (Uronema gigas and Microspora membranaceae) are presently cited for first time for Brazil and 3 others (Chaetophora elegans, Stigeoclonium farctum, and Ulothrix rorida) for the state of Rio de Janeiro. Microspora membranacea is presently rediscovered, since it was known up to now only from its original description based on material collected in China. |
