Popis:
The optical properties of Zn 1-x Cd x Te single crystals were investigated in order to make ultrafast E-O modulator for tera bps optical communication. Experimental results indicate that the Zn 0.95 Cd 0.05 Te crystal has the highest efficiency for an E-O sensor or emitter of T-rays, and even for an ultrafast E-O modulator.
