Popis: Oxygen difluoride is the most stable binary compound of oxygen and fluorine. It is mainly a laboratory chemical. Dioxygen difluoride is unstable and difficult to purify, but has found some application in the conversion of uranium oxides to UF6 and as a recovery agent for actinides from nuclear wastes. Physical and chemical properties are given.
