Popis:	It has been known for many years that a major component of keratohyalin granules is the so-called histidine-rich protein. In recent years it has become evident that multiple forms of these proteins are present both in keratohyalin granules and in the stratum corneum. The form in the keratohyalin granules is extensively phosphorylated [6, 10], while the stratum corneum forms are very basic.
