| Popis: | The specific alpha-activity of U-234 has been determined using pure samples grown from UX. The half-life period was found to be 2.67\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.04 (L. E.)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}${10}^{5}$ yr. The corresponding abundance in natural uranium is 0.0000580\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.0000008 by weight in fair agreement with determinations by other methods. |
