The problem of resource potential use for company’s performance efficiency improvement is explored in the paper. The purpose of the study is concluded in consideration of resource potential matter and assessment of the efficiency of its use when selecting a competitive strategy. As part of the study, the methodology for assessment of resource potential use efficiency is developed, including the evaluation procedure, the algorithm of its application with the construction of 3 × 3 matrix model, selection of initial parameters and ordering of their set, application of the integrated indicator for assessment of resource potential use efficiency by means of Delphi approach, in particular through the rank correlation method. For the purpose of the developed technique practical approval the assessment of resource potential efficiency of the building contractor for competitive strategy definition is conducted in the article. The presented results demonstrate that the least demanded are the human capacity and also the information and communication potential of the enterprise. Comparison of the periods showed that the non-demand potential also includes information and communication capacity and organizational entrepreneurial capabilities. In conclusion of the study the recommendations are made, demonstrating that at the given level of resource potential use it is efficient to apply the strategy of concentrated growth or, more specifically market strength building, which would help to maintain the existing competitive level of the organization and move to the development strategy in the process of resource potential increase. |
