The main aim of the present project is to test, using a set of questionnaires, whether the threat caused by COVID-19 pandemic leads to an increase in perceived disgust, hygienic behaviour, xenophobia, and perceived stress as well as a decrease in pro-social behaviours. The perception of threat will be induced by i) a priming story and ii) testing during a pandemic and after a pandemic, app. six months after the first data collection. In this way, we should be able to test interactions between these two factors, i.e. priming story and testing situation. |
