Popis: | 1. Ethylene glycol may be recovered from extract solutions by the use of a secondary solvent of the petroleum ether type. 2. The recovery conditions and the consumption of secondary solvent must be selected in accordance with the chemical composition and boiling range of the initial crude. 3. Virtually total removal of the aromatic extract from glycol is possible only by multistage treatment of the extract with the secondary solvent, of which the use sharply increases the process efficiency. Unlike single-stage treatment, multistage treatment does not require an increase in the consumption of secondary solvent. |
