Popis:	Summary The development of the EMLA system adds a new powerful real-time LWD tool to the toolbox. The true look-ahead sensitivity makes it possible for the first time in the industry to react timely to changes in formation resistivity several meters to tens of meters ahead of the bit for vertical and low-angle wells. It will be demonstrated through field applications how the technology has reduced the risk and cost of drilling operations, by assisting in optimizing the well design.
