Popis: | Most previous studies pertaining to undesired fire alarms, which are due to fire-fighting equipment, have investigated the response characteristics of smoke detectors. Undesired fire alarms are primarily investigated experimentally using dust, whereas undesired fire alarms caused by humidity (water vapor) are rarely investigated. To investigate undesired fire alarms in this study, experiments were performed in a laboratory using electric pots typically used to increase indoor humidity; additionally, smoke detectors and Iot sensors were installed inside the laboratory. Subsequently, a three-dimensional numerical analysis was performed to analyze the flow of water vapor. To confirm the accuracy of the numerical analysis, the velocity distribution of undesired fire alarm obtained was compared with the experimental results. Owing to the agreement between the two results, the three-dimensional numerical model can be used for investigating undesired fire alarms caused by an increase in humidity. |
