Popis:	Thermoluminescence has been observed in X-ray irradiated CdS-doped glasses. The intensity of thermoluminescence is proportional to X-ray dose. This indicates that CdS-doped glasses are possibly used as materials for radiation dosimetry. Thermoluminescence of CdS-doped glass was compared with that of phosphor for commercial radiation dosimeter. Effects of light irradiation were also examined.
