Popis: Osteosynthsis for the intracapusular fracture of the femoral neck with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) was performed in 5 cases. All of them were females and their ages were from 49 to 74 years old; the average age at the time of fracture was 64.2. They were suffering from RA for 1 to 35 years and had stage II to IV, class 3, 4 of RA. All cases were treated by multiple pinning, including the fracture types of Garden's stage II, III and IV. Non-union was seen in one patient who developed osteonecrosis, though the others showed favorable bone union.Osteosynthesis for the femoral neck fracture is recommended for RA patients in dependent of Garden's stage.
